Technical Specifications

Technical specifications are created for the procurement of plant components. A technical specification describes in detail the process conditions under which a component will be operated, and based on that, the requirements that have to be fulfilled by the suppliers.
In addition to the process conditions, the conditions of the surroundings are considered where the component will be located and operated. This includes the ambient pressure and the range of the ambient temperature, as well as the layout plan in the case of relevant spatial constraints.
All the relevant process conditions and requirements are listed. At the same time, a technical specification is not unnecessarily extensive in order to make it easier for the suppliers to correctly and completely register all the data. It is composed concisely, and efforts are made from the beginning to ensure that the number of adjustments can be kept as low as possible in the course of the procurement process.
